Sheraton University City – Facade & Garage Repairs

This project involved restoration of the building facade and multi-level parking garage at the Sheraton University City Hotel. The work was designed to address structural deterioration, improve waterproofing performance, and extend the service life of critical exterior and garage components.

Facade Restoration

– Removal of unsound concrete from columns, slabs, walls, and beams.

– Surface preparation including abrasive blasting and priming of exposed reinforcing steel.

– Application of compatible patching materials and protective coatings.

– Installation of new reveal joints and drip edges to match existing architectural detailing.

– Removal and replacement of all perimeter sealants at windows, louvers, and façade joints.

Garage Repairs

– Topside, underside, full-depth, and topping slab repairs.

– Column and wall face repairs, crack repairs, and exposed rebar treatment.

– Installation of new galvanized anodes for corrosion control.

– Removal of existing coatings and application of new vehicular traffic coatings.

– Control joint and cove joint sealant replacement.

– Replacement of damaged bollards.

This restoration project reflects a high level of technical precision and coordination, ensuring long-term durability and safety for both the building envelope and garage structure while maintaining full operational functionality during construction.
